Leonardo Spa – Helicopters Division

I manage all the commodities within Metallic Raw & Composites materials for all the italian plants of Leonardo spa Helicopter Division. Commodities for metallic raw include Forgings, Castings, Extrusions, Rods & Bars, Sheets, Plates, Tubes in different materials, Steel, Aluminum, Titanium, Alloys. For Composites, Pre-preg and Honeycombs.

Jan 2013 – Dec 2015. Freelance Consulant

Business consultant with a strong focus on Finance & Control and Purchasing. I worked primarily for entrepreneurs and small companies.

Jan 2012 – Dec 2012. Continuous Improvement Leader


I led several Kaizen Events, identifying opportunities for improvements in Operations that were implemented later on by the same working groups. I trained personnel on 5S and Visual Management as one of my goals was to develope a Continuous Improvement culture and approach.

Jun 2005 – Dec 2011. Financial Planning & Analysis Manager


I was in charge of Budgeting, Reporting and Variance Analysis for all the legal entities and production plants in Italy. I assessed the profitability (EVA-driven analysis) of the existing Business lines and all the new projects. I worked in close and constant contact with Operation Managers and Maintenance Managers on Cost Reduction projects. I held regular meetings with Purchasing and Supply Chain to reschedule the order book and improve P&L and Cash Flow. For purchasing projects, I ran Make vs Buy analysis, Total Cost of Ownership, Cost Savings and Cost Avoidance.

Jan 2002 – Sept 2003. Area Manager & Sales Engineer

Pompe Vergani srl – Italy

As Sales Engineer my main task was to provide commercial and technical support to the four Area Managers in the italian market and to the Fire Fighting System Product Manager. As Area Manager, I was in charge of developing a sales force in the assigned area and developing the business with key customers.
